Fifteen days and counting! That is how much time is left before this renovation project is completed. In three more days, it will officially be three months since I started this renovation project. In just three months I have gutted the entire apartment, added a half bath, built and installed stairs, custom bookcases and closets. Its a big project and I am pretty happy with how things are turning out. The two big projects that are pretty much completed are the addition of the stairs and the fireplace surround. The stairs are now in working order and I am able to climb from the apartment right onto the roof deck! It is really exciting to be able to climb the stairs to the roof. In addition, the custom fireplace surround was installed. Peter my contractor built this amazing surround with a great space for a big screen HD 3D TV! Nice right! In addition, all the plumbing has been completed for both bathrooms. Toilets, sinks and shower has been installed. The only thing left is to build and install the bookcases and cabinets next to the fireplace, sand and stain the floors, paint and install the blinds.
